Who is behind Eradication Wellness?

My name is Sharissa, also know as EradicationWriter. Millennial.

I always felt a little different from everyone else, never quite knowing where I fit in. I spent most of my early adulthood running around aimlessly, never understanding life because I felt so incredibly lost. I went through a truly self-destructive period because I couldn’t get my mental illness under control. I had tried every medication possible, at every strength, and still, my mental health fell to rock bottom every time. After my last hospitalization in 2018, I came to a realization that a lot of my issues could be solved by taking control of my life and making healthier decisions.

After spending at least a year mending my fragile mind, I realized that I could live a normal life and learned a few ways to take control of those ravenous thoughts that once ate my brain alive. I worked on learning many ways that we can overcome our mental illnesses in the best ways, and each way is different. I am now certified in Psychological First Aid, which is used to help people who survived large natural disasters and trauma and help them get their lives back on track. I want to share that with people that I know are struggling with mental illness or even just struggling with unhappiness in life. I want to provide multiple points of view on different topics and allow people to find themselves and their individuality. Most importantly, I want to get rid of the stigma that having a mental illness or caring about mental health makes you some menace to society. Focusing on mental health is becoming more normal now than it ever has, and I am here to stand up for the people who can’t speak up for themselves. We are all human, we all have issues, and we all can overcome them and keep working to attain the maximum amount of happiness that we all deserve.
